Hello, welcome to Somerville CU! We are a friendly group of Christian Somervillians, out to further God's kingdom in college, and to support each other in our walk with Christ.
Your CU reps at Somerville are Abbey Morton (Engineering) and Rob Hayes (History). Or job is to keep CU running smoothly - that is, relatively smoothly and to look after the Christian family here. If you have any questions, we'd love to hear from you.
Regular events:
These things happen throughout term (from 1st week to 8th week); anyone and everyone is welcome to join us.
Wednesdays:
Weeks 2, 4, 6, 8: College meetings in Derbishire 10 (a.k.a. Abbey's room) at 8pm. These meetings are for fun, Bible study, friendship, prayer, fellowship, (some) madness, and food.
Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7:
Meet at Vaughan gates at about 7.40pm, and together we'll head down to the OICCU central meeting.
Fridays: College prayer meeting
Meet in the Chapel at about 8am, and we'll spend some time praying together for our college and friends. There is no better way to begin a Friday.
