A United Student Community to Witness for Christ

Our CU rep Ben is about to go into his second year at Worcester. He has a passion for Maths which perhaps only other Mathmos can fathom, and when he is not getting excited about rearranging equations for tutes you can find him on the football pitch practising his moves for the Worcester first team, or anywhere there is food. I'm sure he would agree though that his most important passion is Jesus, and that is why he is representing our CU this year, making it a place where all the students of our college can come for fun, fellowship, and of course food!

Worcester's i-team rep this year is Rosie, a 1st year theologian from sunny Devon. When not learning Hebrew vocab to the early hours of the morning or fighting over the latest commentary on Amos, Rosie enjoys playing clarinet in the college orchestra. As i-rep Rosie's role is to welcome international students to the University, making sure everybody fits in and adapts to life at Oxford. She also keeps the CU informed about events going on around the world and encourages us to pray for people in other countries. Rosie also makes excellent brownies and would love to talk to you if you have any questions so feel free to pop over and see her.

We have a medium to large CU at Worcester and we meet every Wednesday evening, alternating between meeting centrally with Christians from other colleges and meeting in Worcester. When we meet in college we study the Bible, pray together and worship our great God. We also meet together each Sunday morning to have breakfast with each other and pray before going off to our various Churches. We like to have fun and recent social trips have been to Pizza Express and Prezzos. We're a group of individuals who come from different backgrounds, go to different churches and are involved in a wide variety of college activities, but who are united in our love for Jesus and those around us.
